Pedralbes Royal Palace
The Pedralbes Royal Palace is a building placed in the middle of an ample garden. From 1919 until 1931 it was the residence for the Spanish Royal Family when they visited the city. It was declared of Cultural Interest in 1931.
Between 1932 and 2013 the Palau hosted the Museum of Ceramics and the Museum of Decorative Arts until they moved to the HUB building of Barcelona's Plaza de las Glòries. Since 2010 it has been the permanent headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean ( read more )
