Park Güell
The Park Güell is a public park system composed of gardens and architectonic elements. Eusebi Güell assigned the design of the park to Antoni Gaudí, a renowned architect and the face of Catalan modernism. The park was built between 1900 and 1914.
In 1984, UNESCO declared the park a World Heritage Site under “Works of Antoni Gaudí” ( read more )

Accessibility of the Güell Park
Is Güell Park able to be visited by people with reduced mobility?

Re #0: Accessibility of the Güell Park
Re #0: Accessibility of the Güell Park
Re #0: Accessibility of the Güell Park
Park Güell is a very nice place, but personally if I were a person with reduced mobility I would not go there, there are too many stairs. Before, I would take a walk through Port Vell or the Paseo de Gracia.
The ramblas if there are not many people is also a nice walk, but you have to avoid the rush hours in the morning and in the afternoon, because there are too many people and it can be a little stifling.

Purchase Park Güell tickets
I am going to visit Barcelona soon and I have been recommended to purchase tickets to Park Güell online.
Is it worth the visit? Is it really necessary to buy the tickets before going?

From my point of view, Park Güell is one of the most magical places in Barcelona and the views of the city are spectacular. Unfortunately that makes it a very crowded place.
I would say that if you do not buy the ticket in advance you will not be able to visit the monumental area, which is where are the most emblematic buildings of the park. The rest of the park is free access except for the Gaudí House Museum, for which you have to pay an additional ticket.
