Villa Doria Pamphilj
The Villa Doria Pamphili is a seventeenth-century villa with what is today the largest landscaped public park in Rome. It is located in the quarter of Monteverde, on the Gianicolo.
The exterior containing statues gives a rich allure that was architecturally somewhat conservative for its date, looking back towards the Villa Medici or the Casina Pio IV, and rather more Mannerist than Baroque ( read more )
